While cleaning and washing a comforter can be a hassle due to its size and weight, it is still possible to successfully remove the stains from your navy blue king comforter sets. Use the house supplies to remove stains and take your comforter to the laundry so you can wash and dry it in additional large machines. After investing a little time and effort, you will have a clean, cool comforter to sleep under again.
Mix equal parts of baking soda and white vinegar to make a paste. Rub the paste into the stain on the navy blue king comforter sets with a clean cloth moistened with water. Allow the baking soda and vinegar paste to sit on your stained comforter for 30 minutes. Clean the paste and stain your quilt with a clean cloth. Fill an extra large front loading washing machine with cold water and the recommended amount of mild detergent. Allow the detergent and water to mix for two minutes before loading your quilt. Extra large front loading machines can be found in the laundry.
Pour half a cup of white vinegar into the rinse water. Doing this helps ensure that all soap residue is removed from your quilt. Dry your quilt pen in an extra large dryer. Place unused tennis balls in the dryer, to help the fluff down and prevent the formation of a lump in an area of the quilt. And, felt up oil stains on the quilt by sprinkling baking soda on them and let it sit for an hour. Remove baking soda and oil stain with a vacuum cleaner. Wash the navy blue king comforter sets on a monthly basis to prevent stains from accumulating.
