Basic Instructions for a Custom Duvet Covers Double
A child’s room or a small guest room are often equipped with double beds to save space and make room for other needs. Although they are not expensive, the options for individual quilts are generally limited to children’s prints or basic designs. To change the style of leaving the room or redecorating to correspond with the seasons of the year, make a double custom duvet covers with decorative flat sheets. Available in a variety of designs and colors, full sheets can be used to create a removable quilt cover for your existing double quilt.
Measure the width and length of your double quilt. A standard sized double dildo is 65 inches wide and 86 inches long. Place a flat sheet of full size on the work surface with the print or the finished side facing up. Place the full size flat sheet that is on top with the finished side down. Add 1 inch to the width of the quilt measurement and 2 1/2 inches to the length. Pins the long side edges of the cut leaves and one end. Sew the edges covered with a half inch seam allowance. The sewn sheets will resemble a large pillowcase. Fold the open top edge of the custom duvet covers 1 inch to the wrong side. Iron the fold.
Cut three 12 inch lengths of half inch wide hook and loop tape. Peel off the halves of each ribbon. Place the quilt cover on your work surface. Equally the space of the length of the three diffuses halves of the hook and loop tape along the top hem. Pin the tape to the hem, and then sew around each edge of the tape to secure. Flip the custom duvet covers over. Use your fingers to feel the ribbon on the other side. Place the length of the bristle ribbon halves on the hem, aligning them on the ribbon on the other side. Pin the ribbon to the hem. Sew around each edge of the tape to secure.
